Welcome to Pacific Green’s fine line of museum quality, custom eco-furniture at Jeff Mitchum Galleries. All of the beautiful wood used in handcrafting the rare and unique furniture comes from old, infertile coconut trees, harvested from abandoned plantations. When cleared, they make way for the planting of new, fertile, hybrid trees and critically needed food crops. There is absolutely no waste as every portion of the old coconut tree is utilized. The overall effort helps save our planet by converting poisonous carbon dioxide into clean, breathable air. Additionally, rainforests are home to two-thirds of all the living species on our planet and are the source of nearly half of the medicinal compound that we use every day. By supporting this noble venture, our earth’s most precious natural resources are conserved and preserved.  Sadly, despite the obvious need to preserve them, we continue to destroy areas more than twice the size of Florida every year; primarily through irresponsible logging. Not only is eco-furniture a responsible choice, it is a beautiful one. The design is influenced by the workmanship and aesthetics of traditional societies, and pieces are handmade by indigenous artisans using ancient techniques. Products use exotic natural materials including hides, wood, grasses and stones, which perfectly complement the natural landscapes available at Jeff Mitchum Galleries. Pacific Green furniture and the fine art available at Jeff Mitchum Galleries makes a perfect union!
